I was in this case where I formatted my wii u console, (forgetting that the 3d world save was still there. Oh, and before I modded it.) and I was trying to restore the save file.
I used the save files in this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-save-files-compilation.427761/ (Excluding the PAL Versions)
However, None of them seem to work. I kept using SaveMii to import them, and it still didn't show up.
Edit: I have found the fix! First of all, I wiped my save data for the game, And injected it into my user profile. That just so happened to be the last thing preventing the save from loading.
