Hacking Slow Moonshell 2

Is moonshell suppose to be this slow? It takes a couple seconds for the menu for songs to start, and the menu lags a bit. It's much slower than 1.71. I have a 16gb microsd card with 170 songs

Try moving everything off your card and then format and copying back just Moonshell and one or two songs. See if that makes any difference to Moonshell's reaction time. If it does copy the rest back along with all your games and retest. If it speeds up then your card was just fragmented...if it doesn't you may need to roll back to v1.71.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. Both my 8gb kingston sdhc cards are slow, but my 2gb sandisk card works well. Reformatting, chkdsk, etc. didn't work, I had to go back to 1.71 for everything except video.

are all your songs in the same folder? or just like, everywhere you normally would go for things in moonshell clutterd? if so that may be the case.
