As soon as I start playing it has crazy slowdown, Yeah besides that and the tony hawks everything is full speed.

Tried Metal Slug 7 myself - Acekard 2i v CycloDS v retail card. Just played through the first mission on each.

I experienced slowdown using Acekard only. And only on the boss battle at the end of the mission. Also noticed that at the same time as the slowdown occurred the battery charge light came on even though the DS was plugged in. So it seems like the Acekard was working hard to keep up with the action hence the slow down and power drain.

In general though I haven't noticed any performance problems with the Acekard and the battery seems to last just as long as when running retail cards.

Well... I just beat the first boss, the snake like drill thing, using the rocket launcher (lots of explosion animations) and had no slow downs.
My battery light didn't come on either, and I haven't charged in a few days either.

Again... I've got an AceKard 2i using AKAIO 1.6RC2 and a 4GB Class 6 ADATA MicroSDHC card.

I'll try Tony Hawk in a bit and describe my experience.
Playing Tony Hawk Sk8land now... no slowdowns yet, though I just started.
