Hacking Slot 2 boot with cheats?

Hey, I have an r4ds and a legit pokemon sapphire gba game.

I use ysmenu firmware on my r4 and I want to know if I can boot slot 2 games such as my pokemon sapphire with cheats like action replay codes.

I think yazoomafroo meant that it wokrs on REAL gba games and not roms!
He is talking about: R4 Gba SLOT-2 !
And we all know you can't load gba roms in slot-1 so if i'm right this program does not help!

On a real game cartridge? Not possible without a thirs part device like an Action Replay GBA. The Nintendo DS can't access the GBA memory once a game is playing and when a game loads, the memory is cleared for the game. So you need third party hardware or get the ROM of the game and patched that with the cheats you want on a Slot 2 flashcart.

Yes you can but its complicated.

1.First you need dump.nds from JHP (download it)
2.Load the .sav on you ds with the option "Dump savegame to file"
3.download the game ROM !
4.Get vba (gba emulator) and open the rom with the savegame
(example : Poke SAP.nds and Poke SAP.sav
5.Now it will load the savegame, use in vba the cheat option
6.Use some cheats and save the game "export batterie"
7.At my ds dump.nds couldn't upload the Poke SAP.sav so i used rudolfs gba backup tool
download at http://www009.upp.so-net.ne.jp/rudolph/nds/Backup/
8.Load the .sav back on your card and play the game with cheats without Action replay gba!!!!

Tried this out with my own poke fire red and it works fine, so Narin you are wrong it is plossible.

Narin was talking about using cheats on a real cartridge. You're not using a real cartridge. Of course you can dump the save and cheat in any emulator. You can also do that with Rudolph's tools alone.

You can access it when you are playing but you can copy the .sav to your card.
My pokemon firered is a "orginal nintendo game" bought it before i had a flashcard.
Now i have a ds and a r4 i used them to cheat (so as you can see yazoomafroo have a r4.

So I am new to this but I would like to do exactly what you just listed here for my pokemon fire red. I only have a cyclods evolution. But I was wondering if you know where I could get the "dump.nds from JHP" where do I download it?
