Cracoucas42 has released a slideshow application for the DS, sliDes.
Make sure to resize images to 192 x 256.

I used GIFs when testing this homebrew out...as the sample in the sliDeS image folder is a GIF.

So, I would assume that it's only GIF compatible.

seems pretty useless if

a. it doesnt resize the images for you (unless a pc convertor was supplied)
b. other apps do the job better already. (imageviewer, moonshell etc)

This thing uses PAlib, which is why I thought it might only have GIF support (that's the only image format PAlib can read).
Adding support for PNG and JPG could be as simple as switching to uLibrary or using it in addition. uLibrary can read JPG and PNG in addition to GIF.
uLibrary can also scale pictures, I think.
