This is the opposite of what we need... Skyward Sword looked like crap with all those pastels. We need someone to make a Twilight Princess texturepack for Skyward Sword. Zelda games are best when they are dark and gritty.
Someone did that before, and it looks like s**t. The watercolor effect just makes everything look muddy if using TP assets.

So is the project being resumed, if anyone knows at all? Because this was one of the coolest things I saw since I dont really like the "HD Texture" packs that come out for TP

I actually prefer when Zelda games are bright. I wasn't a fan of the Twilight Princess textures.
^ This. TP felt wrong to me, It felt like Nintendo took that art direction not because they liked It but because they knew It would sell more, It didn't feel as natural as SS or WW where It seemed like they were doing what they love doing.

Thank you! I feel like if they didn't keep the wolf parts and made the game brighter, it could have been on par with OOT or Majora's Mask.

You can use SweetFX for Dolphin to mess around with the lighting, to your desired point.

I get that some people didn't like the wolf parts, but that was this games attempt at innovation/variation to distinguish it from being a completely rehashed OOT. thats just my opinion though. Sorry for off topic

It's also the graphical style that ages that worst. :tpi:

Well when a Zelda game comes out colored like Skyward Sword, I couldn't take the game seriously. I felt like going on an Easter Egg Hunt because of the pastels and how childish it looked. Took a visual hit a few steps down from Twilight Princess.

When I compare windwaker, twilight princess, and skyward sword on dolphin with everything maxed out, tp sticks out as looking the worst to me. Thats why I can appreciate this texture pack. Because of the artstyle detailed textures arent required, meaning no crappy gc quality "realism". Now, realistic zelda like that tech demo for the wiiu would be awesome, but something like that would be impossible with the source material. An entirely new game would have to be made. Thats the problem with texture packs. You can change the face, but you can't change the atmosphere.

Doesn't work.
Other Gamecube and Wii texture packs work flawless for me.
Every PAL or NTSC Wii rom I download for Twilight Princess, nothing happens to the textures.
Map and Game ID are identical, and I use the newest version of Dolphin.

No, it's not the Nvidia drivers, and yes, I put the texture folder in User\Load\Textures.

What's going on??
