Hi all, first time poster and complete newb to all of this so bear with me:
I recently purchased a sky3ds and r4i save dongle (so I can transfer the saves from my carts to the sky), and I am having trouble with the saves. I successfully transferred my saves (.sav format) to my computer using the real cart and save dongle and hit "restore save" onto the SD card of my sky and when I try to load monterrey hunter, it only has the option for "new game." The roms I'm using however are US, but are ripped from a site, they aren't a backup of my actual game cart. Every tutorial I've read online contains cycling through games on the sky that doesn't seem to work for me :/ If anyone could help, that'd be awesome!!
