Hacking [SKY3DS] Save data transfer for online play.

Hello I'm new here and I just have a quick question that needs help.
Is it possible for me to use 3DS Safe Data Transfer tool to transfer my sky3ds Monster Hunter 4 U
to a digital copy? The reason why I'm doing so is because sky3ds monh4 can't go online right now
so I decided to get a digital copy but I want to keep the save file.
Anyway, will it be possible? And what about the header? Will it mess up my digital copy?

If you buy MH4 then it will work to transfer the save. I tried it myself with RE:Re
