Hacking Sky3ds or Gateway

Hey guys, i am going to be buying a Nintendo 3ds, but i don't know which flashcard i should i use?

if you are computer literate, gateway.. if not just go with plug and play sky3ds but it doesn't give you the juicy extras gateway has.

Is there a chance to brick my 3ds with sky3ds? IF gateway GETS bricked, it can be CURED, so what about sky?

if you mess up your 3ds it will need taking apart, wires soldering to it and restore it back by pc. sky3ds wont brick your 3ds but may get your on line functionality banned.
