Keep copies of all correspondence with yeahgeek. Don't send a nag to them more than ever 24 hours. If they don't respond in the next 24 report back and we can start a protest thread making sure it is on the 1st page at all times. They won't like that and will respond after a few days. :)

Possibly. I want to give YeahGeek the benefit of the doubt, first. If they come through, I'll stick with them :-)

I tried that once. Basically it comes down to this: You paid them. Good luck. Only thing I could do when my GW didn't arrive was contact the bank and wait a month for the refund to come through. Then took refund and got Sky3DS.

May need to contact bank/credit card company and explain that product was faulty and you can't get refund and you've tried contacting vendor.

If worse comes to worse file BBB complaint if they refuse to cooperate while contacting credit card company as well.

YeahGeek is a respected website, I'm sure they'll process his refund/RMA. If they don't, he's welcome to complain here so that our users don't come to them with any more business.

Yeah. It's just trying to get YeahGeek to send me an address to send it to. I told them about it Monday night, and received a response asking for a video showing the problem. That was about 26 hours ago. I've sent them the video and about 3 - 4 follow up emails stating what I've tried since to get the card working, but have had no replies. I'm hoping for a simple "Please post it back to us at the following address ... ". If I do, I'll update you guys. YeahGeek says this on their website :

There is no address noted anywhere on the site that I can find. I don't mind paying return shipping costs... I just want the working card that I paid for.

If they are true to their word, then I would gladly buy from them again. There are several items they sell that I'd like.

I'll keep you all updated on the saga.

You don't just ship it back and demand a refund, follow the RMA process.

I will if it comes to. I guess I am being a little impatient, as not *that* much time has passed. However, when you're all excited for a week for a new bit of tech, then receive it and find it's faulty, it kinda hits all the wrong nerves ;-)

Better a week than an entire month like I normally have to wait.

This forum makes me think 99% of the world has never 1) dealt with or 2) worked in a customer service related job. You will not get a response instantly as if you were texting your buddy about grabbing a beer after work. Don't email repeatedly if you haven't gotten a response; If you act like an impatient dick to them, they'll treat you like a dick. There are thousands of sky3ds cards in the world. A few will be duds. You will be ok.

You will be ok.

Yup ^^^

Unless you get totally d***ed over like me. It happens...

Give support a what... a month? Then go Hulk and contact your credit card company.

That's just cus in the States, anything shipped in from China needs to pass inspection by the CIA, the FBI, the IRS, State police and the local rent-a-cops. I hear that can slow things down a bit ;-)

Not true... sometime they slip your package into a drug supply and it arrives quicker than an Amazon package.

I live in Jersey. It happens...

Also... NEVER open anything that DOESN'T have your name on it. Even if the address is correct.

Thats basically just it, but not like they care. They want what they paid for, and want it NOW. Sad isn't it....

But there could be some awsome drugs in there!

I wonder if your Sky3DS is making proper contact inside the slot...does it go in smoothly or do you get some resistance? Does it have any rough edges that need to be filed down? Is the side that has the sticker perfectly flat or a little curved?

I think some people had success by placing a piece of paper under the cart so that it makes better contact.

I tried the paper idea, but it didn't help. When I insert the card, you can hear it pushing the contacts, and it's not as smooth. My real carts don't do that.

I'm not one for pissing people off. However, I run a service based company, and we always at least send an acknowledgement email on the same day when we get a support request (unless it's the weekend). It's a courtesy thing. However, I'm not gonna badger YeahGeek too much. I've been polite. I emailed again this morning asking for them to advise, and I'll leave it at that until tomorrow.

I had the same problem when I first had my sky3ds card but mine was just a case of it not fitting the slot properly.I ended up pulling off the sticker as it was a very tight fit into the n3ds's slot.Once I had removed the sticker the cart went into the slot easily and it finally started working.
