I recently got a SKY3DS+ flashcart from elewelt.net

During the time it took for the order to be delivered (one month), I discovered I don't need it anymore.

My dilemma is this : should I send back the card knowing that the seller is actually in China when I thought it was in Germany, much closer to where I live; and considering I read some criticism about elewelt's reliability.

I contacted them about it, and they gave me a return address to Wuhan, China. They also advised me to try and sell the SKY3DS+ myself.

What should I do? Should I trust a refund promise despite the distance and the opacity of the seller? Has anyone had the experience of returning something to elewelt?

I'd just keep it in case I need it for something in the future.

Thank you guys for brushing all options, they're all valid :)
Selling it locally could be nice but I don't know if there's a market for it, and SKY3DS+ cards are still a bit expensive (almost the price of used N3DSXL...)
Keeping it would be a nice option if the card was not so darn expensive (!).
elewelt sent me an email confirming they would refund me when they get it back, but with the covid-19 virus I don't know if tracking will work trustfully, especially in China!
still puzzled :)

For what? boot9strap can't be patched from nintendo, except they release a new hardware revision (which they doesn't do). Flashcards are overpriced and not worth the price. Luma makes everything better on the 3ds.

ok, decided to send it back. Thanks for all the advice, I'll let you know about the seller's reliability (can be useful for potential customers)

For what? People wanting to return things after knowing that it aint what they want? The reliability would be from if they buy would they get the product. Which seems to be a yes.

it was elewelt.net (I read some criticizing about them here and there, for the moment they delivered and they answered my emails, so I keep trusting)
