Hacking Skate 3 on ps3hen?

Hey guys,

Last week I installed ps3hen on my super slim PS3 and most thing are working fine (with a little freeze from time to time when booting something up).

But I can't seem to get Skate 3 working. I have no idea on how to get it to show up in my home menu.

Eventually I managed to download a in PKG version which was 2 pkg files . I installed those but the game fails to boot and gives me a general error which, according to Google, is mainly saying the game needs updates. But when I try to update it states it is already there latest version.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ps: I also have issues running Hexen or Heretic homebrew, while Supaplex is just working fine, not sure if it is related or not.

When you play games in pkg format you need to install the RAP files that come with it using a tool like PSN Patch, SEN Enabler or even webMan.

You can find the appropriate RAP files on PSNDL

is there a toturial I can follow on how to do this?

also I cannot find the RAP file on there, only demo RAP files for skate 3. Is there another way to get this working or to get this RAP file?

Games that are demo can be activated without a RAP file, use any homebrew that can enable them like PSN Patch and you're good to go

I managed to find a pkg version that was the full pal version and did work without signing or anything. I did have to install 4 pkg files though (2 for the game, 1 update pkg and 1 license pkg).

I'm sorry I missed that part I got my ps3 for 60 dollars of Craigslist and it is mint so I put cfw on it to control the fans

Nice! Mine was free because of the Blu-Ray drive being broken. So only games that can be played are digital. Still need to look for a PS3 controller though because they were not included. So at the moment I play with my PS4 controller which cannot go back to the menu :/

He's 100% correct just use ps3 iso tool or whatever it's called on pc it will take jailbreak files and convert them to an iso compliant with webman

Some fake ps3 controllers do not work in the recovery menu of the ps3 i.found these controllers to be pretty good since the real ones are outrageously expensive
