Depends on the game really.
These days I almost never play local multiplayer. Most of my friends have different schedules that make it difficult to organize a local gaming session, and they're generally too busy most days to drive on over to my house, or vice versa, so therefore it's online or nothing. The most local multiplayer stuff I do is with my fiancee, whenever she feels like playing Mario Kart or Farm Together or Stardew Valley or LBP together, and that's pretty much it.
But I also don't play too many games with online multiplayer anymore either, once again because my friends are usually too busy to hop on for more than just one match of XYZ game and, as most of us know, playing online without friends is pretty much garbage for the most part. These days it's mostly just one round of TABG or maybe a quick round of Worms, then they're off to do whatever else.
So I guess, in that regard, I play more games singleplayer than anything for the moment.
