As many people are (trying) dumping their fs, i decided to make an easy dumper based (wich is basicly a verry stripped down version of FSToolbox)
this will dump your FileSystem in sd:/FS-Dump, you need to move all the folders in there to the root of your sd for wad mamanger 1.5

i hope you like it

Don't know whether or not to happy about this, was ftp'n FSToolbox to the Wii and gonna work out how to do this, or i could have another beer n blunt and do it the easy way, hmmm...

Thanks I think

DoH moment as I update FTPii, then look at the file structure of FS-dump and the directory trees available in FTPii.

What are the chances of bricking your wii with this thing if you don't have bootmii(like me - I can't install it)?
And thanks for this...

I was there LOL

Thanks Nickasa

should I format my SD card and clear up some space before I use this?

just leave the "apps" and "wad" folder with the appropriate files inside on my SD card?

i have over 500mb of free space on the SD card, not sure if I need much more for this dump.

It depends how many things you have installed, but the fs dump will probably be less than 500MB.

Thanks, the NAND dump went ok but when I try to mount the NAND emulator I get ERROR! (ret = -1)

I put the FS DUmp folder contents in the root of my SD card.

I get the following error while using FS dumper:

QUOTE said:
Error: fopen(sd://FS-Dump/title/00010000/52483650/data/HP:HBP0) returned 0

I think it's due to the filename "HP:HBP0", which isn't supported by FAT/FAT32.
Am I right ????

Using Triforce with the dumped NAND works well !

I did that too, but the filename is the problem - right ?
If so, there may be other files with an illegal char in it, that cannot be saved.
I think this is an issue!

You need to put the contents on a seperate data medium than where you run the Homebrew off of. So in your case keep your sd card with all the stuff on it and then move the nand dump contents onto a usb stick with some extra space. It also works the other way around you just cant have the dump on the same medium as the homebrew or wads you plan to run off of it.

maybe a stupid question, but whats the difference between this and waninkoko's fs dumper?

Can anyone answer this?

also, I ran both programs, and I have 2 dumps of my nand, there were differences

WII_FS/TITLE/00010000/52385045/DATA:
banner.bin
WIIMARIO (no extension)

FS-Dump/title/00010000/52385045/data:
banner.bin
wiimario00
wiimario01
wiimario02
wiimario03

This is the only difference, can anyone explain? as well as answer the first question?
Thanks

Does this work with SDHC cards? I received an SD card removed error when using this with a Sandisk 4GB card today!
