SimCoupe emulates the SAM Coupe - a Britsh Z80-based home computer released in 1989 by Miles Gordon Technology.


SimCoupe v1.1 alpha (2020/05/28) changelog:
Added support for LPEN b0 over main screen.
Added SOFF support for LPEN and HPEN.
Fixed TXFMST active time after MIDI OUT.


SimCoupe runs on the following systems:
  • Windows 95 or later
  • Mac OS X 10.3 or later
  • GNU/Linux
  • Pocket PC (ARM/MIPS/SH3)
  • BeOS R5 / Zeta
  • QNX 6.3.x

The Sam was also known unofficially as the Super Spectrum. It really was a great computer that sadly just came out at the wrong time by a company that also wasn't big enough to support it in any way.
