Apple Signal strength bars stuck on 1

I've just updated to 4.3.3 and JB my phone again using redsn0w.
Now my signal strength icon is stuck on 1 bar. This seems purely cosmetic as i dont have a problem when im on the phone.
Is there a fix for this or do I have to live with it?

I know this is a stupid question but have you tried restarting your iPod?

Try turning Airplane Mode on and off.
