And yes, if it boots with the .firm, everything works like it should
suweet , thanks again C:

owhhh, and just one more thing !

the .3dsx files now will not load up yeah?
so i can delete them i guess, i only rarely would need homebrew launcher.

and that only loads with the 3dsx, and i guess that has now to be updated to .firm right?
so right now we can only load payloads from the luma /payload folder.

One question, if I need to delete the sighax and return to the factory state how would it be done?
I do not have any NAND backup before installation.

I have noticed a slight delay in scrolling games on the menu screen after updating from a9lh to b9s could it be due to luma latest version or the b9 itself

can the slot keys also be deleted?
i had once created a folder titled files9 , i do not remember what i created it for.
but i had the aeskeydb bin file in it, and in the guide it tells ,that it can now be deleted.

and i had some slotkey bins in my decrypt9 folder, can those also be deleted.
won't be needed no more nay ?

and about 3dsx files, can i delete all of them ?
i mean like, i have a folder titled 3ds in the root of my mSD and in there i have the homebrew apps folders, and they are all of 3dsx format.

because now we will mostly only be booting them with their firm extensions correct?
and i guess they will need to be put in the luma/payload folder.

no scrolling through the games (delay) here, do you have them all on the screen, or do you happen to have some in folders?

i prefer to keep the screen clean , so i put alot of the games in folders.
and i only have about 12 on the screen.

You can delete the files9 folder

You can delete the slotkey bins and decrypt9, since the latter is obsolete now and the dev encourages users tu use Godmode9 anyway.

The 3ds folder is still used for homebrew, if you don't need any homebrew, you can delete most if not all of its content, not 100% sure though

Only payloads will be loaded as .firm, homebrew won't

well wasn't there an issue with how people were installing sighax earlier? or was that for people new to getting a device hacked?
They were installing the installer instead of sighax, which the installer doesn't even include IIRC.
And this only happened because of a sloppy guide on sighax.com

Using Plailect's guide, you will install B9S with a very safe setup

okay great, so if i was in need of let's say the homebrew launcher.
that one has no firm file yet, it only comes with the 3dsx and the folder that we put in the 3ds folder.
how do we boot this ?

is it still going to boot up like it normally does? through running the cia (of the HBL) for instance.
but the apps within it will not load or will they ?

3dsx and homebrew doesnt use firms. Its the same still. Homebrew cia runs the 3dsx, which you will need

There is a .cia version of Homebrew Launcher and it boots homebrew the same way the .3dsx version does
