Im on 11.2, I have a9lh, you recommand me to update and make the sighax ? (and how for my situation)
What are the risk for me ?
Im suppose to have a dsi to make the sighax?
What are the adventage for me after update and make sighax?
How we can make backup after sighax ?

( I know a lot of this question are asked and answers but its a little hard for me to understand all because I really have a bad bad bad english level )

Its tell me to remove 3dsafe, what is this? Its safehax? Its also tell me to install safeb9installer what the heck is this?

Yes, FTP will work.

If you don't know what 3DSafe is, you don't have it and don't need to uninstall it.

SafeB9SInstaller installs boot9strap.

GodMode9 is required for that guide, just download it and move the payload.

You can update the 3DS after installing B9S.

Using *hax or MSET to boot into 3DS CFW is absolutely living in the past. A9LH has been the way to go for over a year, and it has been relatively risk-free for anyone who can read and follow instructions for at least 7-8 months. Using SafeB9SInstaller to install B9S using the files the guide has you get is as risk-free as installing a 3DS system update that updates NFIRM (most of them, these days).

If you want to stick with an obsolete entrypoint, have at it, but don't expect anyone to cater to your special needs.

1. In nand pin Lock fork of aroras a9lh implementation which has to be removed due to crypto issues
2. B9Sinstaller is obviously the application that uses SigHax to overwrite the firms with the sighaxed b9s firms
3. GM9 is an AIO File Browser
4. Don't update to 11.4 before the firmwrite is done except you have a hardmod / dsiwarehax / a working implementation of ntrboothax

It doesn't matter when you update your 3DS; before or after installing B9S doesn't matter.

I had 11.4 before installing B9S and everything worked as intended... same goes for anybody who was 11.2, 11.3, updated before installing B9S, whatever the case may be.

Well that's you but if you dont want faster boot times and custom sysmenu's thats you.

I couldn't care less for boot times. those 20 seconds don't annoy me at all since I randomly shut my system down completely. I use sleep mode and therefore only see emunand boot times every few weeks. custom sys-menu? can you show me what you mean? I already have a nice theme installed. what benefits would a custom sysmenu bring for me?

So I put Luma pin to 'off' ? (its already off I never touch this thing)
I have to remove a9lh to make the sighax update?

That's a custom theme. He's talking about a custom system menu that doesn't currently exist, but now can.

Let's put it this way: if you don't B9S or SigHax.com, then you won't get updated CFW if you're using Luma.

btw regarding to ntrboothax, I just have a supercard dsone, could anyone who owns more nds flashcards, hol start + select + x and tell if it also crashes? dsonei definately crashes, not that that has to mean that it will be one of the vuln. cards

300 title limit could've been bypassed using A9LH but nobody figured out how to do it or never bothered implementing it. B9S never enabled this possibility.

unlimited? I can barely get 60 games on my 128 gb card. why would I need more?

if I want to play another 60 I just switch to my other N3DS XL (having 3 of those).

fine with me. never used luma features anyway. I just need a CFW to boot up games. that's all.
