Removed the file from ctrnand and now the 3ds immediatly powers off after turning on.

Test your SD card man, it's either that or your SD card slot not working properly. https://3ds.guide/h2testw-(windows)

You don't need to worry, you're not bricked or anything your console just isn't reading the payload from your SD card for some reason.

You will/can have a completely custom Firmware, that is unpatchable, you can literally really do everything, like some common things like bypassing the 300 titles or 40 dsiware titles, this is just 1 little thing that is possible with that, theres a whole bunch of more almost anything you couldn't do before.

write a new hommenu. there is no actual title limit the homemenu just runs out of ram. as long as your sd is big enough you can also install 4628 titles and launch them through FBI

I read the technical details. Start + Select + X while the lid is closed and an altered DS flashcart is absolutely hilarious. Had we known the combo, we could've had Sighax ages ago.

To be really honest, I just want to know how many dumbasses bricked their consoles.

Ok, I think I'm finally set to start. I had a sd card from a month ago with all the data on it and that one worked fine. I've got Luma 7.05 working and I can get to the bootchain thing. Sorry for being such a pain and thank you so much for your help. I really need to get to bed, I'll be trying the switch over tomorrow.

Just check Zelock's threads, iirc in the spoilers there were strawpolls or a number of people who bricked/ successfully installed it.

Yeah i just got my 256 GB delivered in mail yesterday. i may actually have near 300 titles thats why I ask.
You say a new homemenu, I hope someone is working on this, as im in no way technical enough.

(ps is there quick way to see your total installed titles?)

To install this...i need to have an another cfw installed,or i can install this EVEN if my 3ds is not hacked? (the only hack that i used well...i just used the HB channel)

With this...can i install FBI to install CIA files to get free games and some homebrew app? (Like freeshop and themely)

And...is this hax easy to install? Also...The possibilty of bricking the 3ds,is still high?

So I just installed boot9strap using the updating guide from 3ds.guide, does this mean we have full proof brick protection now? Wasn't the promise of sighax able to boot the system MUCH faster?
If I remember correctly, boot9strap seems to be the same as sighax no?
