Homebrew SigHax Updates and Discussion Thread

Just a simple question. How hard would it be to release 3 versions of Luma, being one for sys+emu, one for a9lh and one for b9s?
I'm asking this because I'm running sys+emu, and while I managed to avoid a9lh, now future Luma versions will only be released for b9s, so I'm basically being forced to get b9s, having the risk of bricking (yes, it's possible and is on the troubleshooting section of the guide and I lack luck when it comes to things like this, since something always goes wrong for me).

Bricking now is wayyyyu harder to do following the guide because you no longer need to downgrade.

You CAN with the DSiWare method but it requires another 3DS running CFW already, and long since gone DSiWare. Granted you can inject a hax save into many compatible games to make it work, but you still need another 3DS that's already hacked; and an injectible DSiWare title you bought legit.

Or it can be installed with a Hardmod. Only options on OFW 11.4.

@ Majickhat55 My problem with DSiWare game injection is that I cannot access eShop to purchase one of the games on this list because of the system update nag. CTR-HTTPWN v1.2 is not working ... I got a EUR N3DSXL on 11.0.0 with Luma3DS 7.0.5 and A9LH installed. eShop forces me to press homemenu button even after having run CTR-HTTPWN. Any advices? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Or should I just update to Boot9Strap first with that console? The thing is, I can only ask my brother to do this process and I really would like to do it myself. I am not at home for the weekend and will return monday so I am scared that Nint will take DSiWare off their shop and therefore missing the opportunity to get Boot9Strap on my 11.4 console ...

update / use ctrhttpwn and then launch ehsop from hbl, anyways for a systransfer you will have to update to 11.4 and thanks 4 the bday wishes

The 3DS has A9LH v1 with Luma3DS v6.6 setup so it can't boot without the SD card I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

No, you keep the boot9strap folder, it's the equivalence of the files9 folder.

Well actually looking at the guide you can delete the boot9strap folder but it's where boot9.bin, boot11.bin and the OTP.bin get dumped to.

Looks like it's not reading the boot9strap.firm from the boot9strap folder. I'd try downloading the zip again.

also, maybe it might be a good idea to update your Luma custom firmware to 7.0.5 and "maybe" update A9LH to V2.

Make sure boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha are in the boot9strap folder of your SD card.

No, you keep the boot9strap folder, it's the equivalence of the files9 folder.

No, it's not, it's only used when installing boot9strap itself or when using boot9strap to dump the bootroms/OTP. It's not needed for normal usage after install.
