I'm looking forward to it, liked Anno 1702 DS alot, and this is a bit the same genre.

Its more of a spin off than a proper Civilization game, hence the "Revolution" part. Its said to be more streamlined & simplified so newcomers can get into it easier. It's also said to be the same as the console versions only with graphics to suit the DS's capabilities and no DLC.

Reviews have been favourable giving it 7-8 out of 10 scores, but as always its best to try it for yourself.

You should check out the civfanatics.com forum for CivRev. They have plenty of discussion on the game differences.

Basically, Sid was saying it is a different breed of game entirely, and definitely not meant to be a part of the actual Civilization PC lineup. The DS game has all the same features as the other console releases, with the only difference being the graphics.

They are also collecting all the reviews that have come out for the game, so if you want more opinion check it out.
