Hacking Should i update?

hi, I'm currently on 7.2.0-17U and am waiting for the homebrew exploit by smea, is it safe to update to 8.1.0-19U?

I'm on 6.1 on my 2DS, and not updating until I get the okay from Smea and/or Gateway.

Dump the nand if you have a ds mode flashcard.

He is on 7.2 so that's not an option

Only way to backup the nand would be a hardmod

I would say to just stick to 7.2 for the minute, smealum has indicated he will be releasing soon, so you should know soon enough if 8.x is safe....he indicated it *should* be but I haven't seen any guarantee as yet

i found a 3ds on 4.3 but its 200 not XL >.<
