STAY. Unless you've got A9LH and a CFW installed already, STAY on your current firmware. You can update to 11.2 if you are hacked already.

Since the sound app is installed on the Nand would we be able to downgrade with soundhax and waithax?

No, Soundhax is a userland exploit not a kernel exploit so no downgrade for now
