Hacking Should I update my 3DS?

Every time I exit Mario Kart 7, it asks me to update and I just press no. Should I update my 3ds to the latest firmware?

you should update, I do not see why not to unless your flash cart will NOT work on the new FW

Make sure you have that patch installed before updating 3ds.

Edit: According to this guy your bootloader is fine already.
