Hacking Should I stick with Gateway?

Hello fellas! I have a Gateway since the beginning of its appearance. It was great, however I am seeing a lot of CFW features that make things that Gateway can't.

The question that is: Which one is best nowadays? I have a New 3ds XL in 9.0

Its not easy to say this, for example no cfw is able to directly load .3ds files. We need to convert them to cia first, but after that you will have your games on your home menu. I for example use Pasta at the moment on my new 3DS, because its a simple cfw that works inside of my sysnand, but I will move over to rxtools in the next time. I still have my gateway, but I'm not using it much(only for some tests). But I will keep it, because they have more posibilitys to find exploits, with the money they get from sales.

If you own it already as I do just use both, I don't feel like installing CIA's to my Sysnand unless they are the legit versions so I just use the red card for 3DS roms and easy access to their saves.

i havent been using gw for 3-4 month. I dont really like flashcart in my 3ds, its probably just me.
anyway i sold mine yesterday. might use the fund for amiiqo perhaps?

I was thinking about selling mines for a good while now since its semi worthless but you never know if gateway has some super bad ass exploit for 11.0 that no one has and a gateway card is needed.

Use your Cubic Ninja cart to install a Cubic Ninja CIA to your Sysnand using Ninjhax 1.1b and Pasta CFW, from there you can use that installed CIA to launch the Gateway Menu from Sysnand and keep Ninjhax on your Cubic Ninja cart.

i play 3ds games on my 3ds and gateway does that. ta-da.

i played GBA games on my GBA.. then my DS...

now I play them on my PSP when I want to.

CIA is slower and I don't feel like installing some game for a half hour at a time when it probably blows monkey goats and I just want to try it out.

Gateway still has the advantage due to being able to load .3ds roms, the only thing that comes to mind that CFW can do which Gateway can't is load retail carts while signature checks are patched (only useful if you need to use SaveDataFiler or NTR-CFW with retail carts, which is something you would probably only have to do once in order to convert cartridge saves to GW format)
Well, that and themehax support, which I'm sure gateway will add soon anyway if you have some patience.

I would just stick with Gateway unless you don't care about .3ds roms at all and don't mind going through the ordeal of converting all your games and saves to .cia and spending ages installing them all.

That's an option too, but not all games have CIAs already made.

Its the false time anticipation that is generally accepted in our community. Just count how many 'soon' can you see and check the post time interval between 'soon'. magic

I kept mine out of laziness it works fine I don't like installing CIAs and I don't want to learn how to use rx.

Gateway will allow cheats in the near future so that's a plus.

Lol, They haven't provided an update in forever. More than likely they're nearly done with it. Maybe an update or two left before they say " Screw this. ". But you never know.
