Ok so I was thinking of buying an old computer with windows so i can use TeconMoon's WiiVC injector, Crap, etc etc. I have an old New 3ds XL that works, but has a faulty (flickering) top screen and I cant stomach playing it. Is it worth modding to the max? There are a few games i'd like, but all things considered, it might be more worth it to sell it. Also I dont have a screwdriver so i cant access the sd card. (p.s. I'm not a pirate so I wont go and download games like that)

You do realize you're pirating when you use TeconMoon's VC Injector right? So you are a pirate if you use that. I'm a pirate I don't make any bones about it.

but.. i own the games. i'm not selling them for a profit. plus usb loader gx is still up and running.

Well if you own every single game you're going to use on the injector, sure that's not pirating I guess. Still could be iffy if you're downloading the roms. Laws are so crazy now.

I know nintendos probably like "that son of a B SKELETON SMITH USED A HACKED WII TO ENHANCE THE GAME HE OWNS LEGALLY"\
suuuure

I mean I don't know why you're scared to just pirate anyway if you're downloading roms that you own or don't own how would Nintendo know any difference. Unless you're using torrents.

I'm pro pirating anything that's not sold in stores. They're not losing any money anyway the only way you could get like Gamecube games is to buy them on like Ebay used or go to some store and Nintendo goes $0 from that.

sell it to me

yeaah i dont have a screwdriver. not to mention i dont really ever want to play ever again.

those screw drivers for the n3ds are like a buck on ebay. I guess you could sell the system for parts, but I'd at least take the micro sd card out. I don't see it fetching much more if you included that, since it would be a parts system.

I find it easiest to use my nails to take off the back cover after unscrewing the screws. NIntendo's official site says not to do that (to use the lip of the stylus), but it does no harm as long as you don't jerk it.

I don't remember if the n3ds came with a micro sd, but the o3ds came with like a 2GB one. it might not be worth it if it's that small.

Yeah it comes with a 4 gb. Could probably get one of those for a few bucks not really worth anything unless you happen to have a DS laying around use it on there for roms otherwise can't think of many reasons to use it.

I have a 256GB card in my wii u (don't remember what the wii has, but it's a micro sd card with adapter). I had thought that it was due to the size that I couldn't get wads to work on the home screen, but I think it was due to not patching the system menu. I opted not to, since it's not worth it with emunand, since it does everything and well. anyway, if you want that card, I suggest investing in a screwdriver. it might be worth having anyway (the screwdriver), since you never know when you'll need it. to prevent tampering a lot of companies either use torx, torx security, triwing (nintendo), or small gauge screws.
