I've managed to get 843 power moons in Super Mario Odyssey on my own, and I'd like to know where the rest are, but I have a strict policy of not using faqs or walkthroughs. however, I have already beaten the game obviously, and the game probably won't be played to find whatever I'm missing otherwise. I also have I think 14 hearts in Ocarina of Time on the switch. I managed to get to Ganon, but I'm missing a lot apparently. should I consult an faq for that game as well or any game that I've beaten or made it to the final boss in?

damn overwhelming. lol I'm still on the fence. I'm finishing up the side quests that I could find in tales of arise. I'm missing like 10 owls according to in game records, which I have no idea how that could've happened. and, there's one side quest that I have no idea how to complete. my reservation is what if I want to go back to these games. I won't start a new game, but what if I have some sort of inspiration or I've figured something out elsewhere. I guess arise will determine what I do, but I won't consult an faq until I've exhausted everything that I know about.

Really, it depends how much time you've got on your hands. If you have all the time in the world, and don't have many games to play in your backlog, then, by all means, keep searching for those elusive moons. Spend a few months. You will just feel all the more glorious when you get them. But if your life is busy (as mine is), check those faqs, get the missing moons, and go to the next game without looking back. You've completed the game already. This is just icing on the cake.
