basically what the title says, for context i bought a switch premodded and i do not plan on connecting it to the internet, however the previous guy that modded it did not include emummc, so i'm asking if i should install or should i not.
also is there a way to backup the nand without too much hassle? i sadly do not have 30-ish gb to spare

I keep sysnand untouched as backup. Your sysnand is probably already polluted.

well damn, it is what it is, i'll still backup most likely
edit:i'll probably "sanitize" the nand before backing it up, any guides? or should i just backup the probably somewhat polluted nand

I guess just back it up. Maybe the person you bought it from never installed anything on it the system and actually used emunand. I would think that because the switch is modded. You say its premodded, by that do you mean with a mod chip.
