Hi @ all,

I want to switch from Reinand to Luma3DS on my menuhax/CtrBootManager EMUnand machine.

Currently my boot.cfg looks like this:

boot_config :
{
timeout = 3;
autobootfix = 2;
recovery = 2;
default = 0;
entries = (
{
title = "ReiNand";
path = "/reinand.dat";
offset = "0x12000";

},
{
title = "HomeBrewMenu";
path = "/bootHBL.3dsx";
} );
};

Can I just switch the bold printed part to look like this:

"
title=Luma3DS;
path=/3ds/boot.3dsx;
offset=0;
key=-1;"

And do I not need to use any other .bin or .dat file for luma3DS to boot? and what is "key=-1" used for?

Any help is highly appreciated. I just want to switch to Luma3DS and then continue from there (update emuNand etc.).
best wishes!

I just updated to the newest luma3ds. didn't work before because I didn't imagine arm9loader.bin was used for us non a9lh users. found out it is needed! :)

now I am here

and that is all that is needed, right?

so I am definetely in emunand now and can update just fine to 11.1?

any help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

best wishes!

You can update EmuNAND to 11.2 (latest as of right now) without any issues.

If you have time, I'd highly recommend switching to an A9LH setup. You already have SysNAND at 9.2, and downgrading SysNAND to 9.2 is usually the most problematic step.

can confirm 6.5 works on emuNand 11.2 just fine.

If I was just brave enough to try that damn a9lh to get rid of those unsuccessful boots I have occasionally.
But I teach myself to be thankful and live with it.
thanks for everyone who is contributing here with helpful posts.
