the atmosphere is somewhat creepy.
if you just waste ammo, you'll find it hard to stock back up.
but there's plenty of ammo lying around if you look hard enough.

you can play the second one first. it doesn't really matter.

unless you want to play both just for the experience.

though dementium II has things that are fixed from dementium I

The second one is better, better storytelling, better graphics and better environments. If you plan to eventually play both, play the first one first. If you skip it you won't miss a lot since the storytelling is awful

GoldenEye: 007, James Bond: BloodStone (TPS), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Mobilized, Dementium 1 & 2 (horror), Touch The Dead, MOON and CORE. Played them all. My favorite was Dementium 2 for a horror and Modern Warfare 2 as a realistic (?) game.
