Don't get your hopes up. It's clear this translation project is dead. From way back in 2020 until now there are no progress screenshots, and the build of Shining Blade with a small amount of work on chapter 1 was already released by the older translator. Not to be mean to anyone, but people thinking this project is happening may stop any capable group to giving it a go. Someone should come and declare this project dead, as the op seems to either be trolling or not able to get progress made.

No??? As the other poster has said, there is hardly a single screenshot that has come out in the last few years. We should stop waiting and move on.

Btw if anyone wants to see a port or remaster coming from Mediavision, the developers of the series, this is their twitter:

They even made a tweet about Shining Blade recently. I'm sure it's possible to tell them our support for localization of the series.

I helped out Ariff by sending him my psp like 4 years ago, and he sent me back some vids over email showing the Shining games running in english. After that, he was deployed by the thai military and vanished. Not sure what happened to the guy, but the sources are still out there. (shrug) take that as you may.

I can see if he still answers his email and get ahold of the sources.

If you have a psvita install gepatch, look at the compatibility list and use the best version

He also finished a Shining Ark translation, but has yet to release a patch, for the lack of time, busy with other projects.
However, he shared his github to anyone that wants to compile it and play.

Supposedly, all one has to do is:
1 - put the japanese iso in the main directory of the folder picked up from the github
2 - install python on your pc
3 - run 1_unpack.py, either by clicking directly into it, or through CMD (command line)
4 - run 2_repack.py, same thing as above

A patched iso should be generated. I tried myself and it didn't work. Not sure if it was my lack of abilities in making it work, but maybe it works for someone else and he can release the patch.
