Hacking Shin megami tensei 4 dlc

Using gateway and bigbluemenu I put the dlc in the micro SD card of the n3ds and did the usual steps

When i open the game it says something about loading dlc ( did not happen before i got the dlc so i thought it works )

But in the game menu when i go dlc it wants an Internet connection
Afterwards it wants me to do a system update

What to do ? Is there another way to make it work ? Im using a n3ds xl with sys 9.0 and emunand 9.0

Try using Free multi patcher and then running the game. It should not ask you to update.

Do i need pasta to do this they mention it quite a few times

It works on gateway emunand and sysnand.

It is already working. All of the DLC in the game are non optional. Which means they are in the job list in the game. Also all DLC missions in the game have DLC in their icons so you can see it.
