Which path would you like ShadowNAND and SaltFW to have?

That's because AuReiNAND was a proper fork. ShadowNAND was its own thing long before AW's code was added.
Yes, I'm aware. However, that was far from the point. My point was that it was clear who worked on what with AuReiNAND, most people don't know what Aurora did because...
Communication involves two people. ShadowHand has done his part by crediting Aurora Wright. Each user who didn't read the credits didn't do their part and made assumptions instead.
Again, the credits are subpar and only say that aurora worked on it. Some of shadownand's language ("with the help of") implies that he did actual work on it also and doesn't state that it was aurora's code that allows for the main features.
He can't read every post.
There are plenty of times things have been posted while he was online that he even liked that spread the assumption that it was his code.
"ShadowNAND - CFW in your NAND", the main feature being the mini CFW. AW has been credited for the main features.
This doesn't change anything.

Regardless, unless something major happens I'm going to stop replying. I made my point, and I don't have time to argue over this. Besides, the final nail in ShadowNAND's coffin is already in progress, so it's going to become irrelevant pretty soon.

Finally, it seems like the only person overly dramatic here is astro. Let's just make him believe anything that will make him sleep at night. Okay?

@astrosomething, you're totally right. Good job. Now get out. *jk*

Now back to the thread, on the next update, you said you're going to use the root of the sd instead of /homebrew/3ds (sad), will you still use boot.bin or will you also revert it back to arm9loaderhax.bin?

I will keep using boot.bin, because I despise "arm9loaderhax.bin". It's launched by arm9loaderhax, it's not arm9loaderhax itself. Sameway boot.3dsx isn't called "menuhax.3dsx" or "browserhax.3dsx", I refuse to call the file "arm9loaderhax.bin".

The problem is that when a convention has been established, trying to change it only adds to the confusion.

Yeah but this is not a new path. I'll just be changing a file name. Support for this can easily be added, and it will only affect a9lh capable CFWs.

Im hesiting for compile your latest commits
As I've said before - stop. You shouldn't be messing with stuff you don't know. You keep jumping around everywhere trying to get the latest commits from everything, while lacking knowledge about a log of things. I don't want to be rude, but you shouldn't mess with things you don't know, seriously. Especially if you don't have a hardmod.

If you don't know what you are doing and don't have a hard mod. Just stop what you are doing.
If you have a hard mod, then go for it, at least you can fix it.
