Here's a link for the SF4 Benchmark Tool to see if your PC will run the game.

http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2009/jun/14/...-tool-released/

Here are my results:

SCORE: 8348
AVERAGE: 59.79FPS
OS: Windows Vista? Home Premium
CPU: Intel Core? i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Memory: 6142MB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
Display Setting: 1680x1050 60Hz

ÂCAPCOM U.S.A., INC. 2008, 2009 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

That's with everything turned on High and AA and AF were off. Vsync @ 60

It's still about a month to go until the actual PC release, I can't wait.

Wish I would have seen this thread earlier, I just ran this benchie about an hour ago. When I ran it on THIS PC, it ran like crap (AMD Athlon64 3400, Radeon X1600, 2gig RAM, WinXP) unless I set it to 640x480. And even at that setting it rated a "C". This is just the PC I do all my browsing and downloading on, so I didn't actually expect it to run very well.

But when I ran it on our Entertainment system PC (Intel Core2 Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz, Radeon 4670, 4gig RAM, Vista Home Premium) it ran like butter and scored an "A" ranking. But I don't feel like booting that system back up to list all the specific results.

Definitely acquiring this game as soon as it's released. YouTube vids (which is the only way I've ever seen it before) don't do it justice.

Yeah, caught this on N4G, but I haven't bothered to download it. After checking out the game requirements, though, I'm confident I can run it just fine. I'm not an uber-fighting fan, so I won't be counting frames. But I'll still have fun with the game. Very glad it has 360-controller support, which I guess is to be expected, of course.

Heh, I think my PC is a little too underpowered for the game. It just gives me "... has encountered a problem and needs to close" dialog box.

That could be an OS issue. What OS are you using? Maybe hardware... reinstall... try the reinstall! Or run in combattibility mode.

I only test the first fight but I maxed everything (texture filter and AA at 2X) but my extra touch was on water color. Got a constant 55-60 frames!
