Hacking Set brightness and battery life

I just got my supercard lite with superkey, this is my first flash cart combo so take it easy please.

how to you set brightness and check battery life on superkey's menu?

thx for quick reply, but it does not seem to work
I tried:
1. pressing down select and switch it on and leave it till supercard menu pop up.
2. pressing down select and when DS Lite warning screen pop up and then straight goes to supercard menu.

am i doing it wrong?

Holding down select is for those DSes with FlashMe. In your case I think you just need to take out the SuperKey. It's annoying, but not sure if the SuperKey has a button shortcut to avoid booting the SuperCard.

Try holding down start and turning it on.

Make your DS boot in manual, not auto mode.

Remove Superkey if DS isn't flashed, remove all, if DS is flashed.
