Hacking Semi Bricked USA Wii

Hi, I tried the 15% trick on WiiChess (I really love chess), but now my Wii is semi bricked (I can't access the settings screen).

I read that if I put an disc with an USA update, it fixes this problem, but now the golden question. Which games have updates? I tried Link's Crossbow Training but it didn't show any update screen.

Well i cant do the 15% trick if the firmware if higher than the one you allready have.

And if you got a US Wii wait for SSBB. I would say it should have the 3.2U update on it.

i you look at all the currently existing updates in this list, you will understand why you have to wait for an newer USA game : maybe SSBB USA

but for now, there is no way to fix your semi brick... sorry
