Hello, I have a 6.61 pro c2 infinity 2.0 psp 1000. I put a memory stick that only had 6.61 pro c2 into my psp and accidently installed it when i was trying to move savedata, i then went back to my normal memory stick and reinstalled the firmware. My select button is now acting strangely. In GTA VCS i can hear a sound when i press it but it wont change the camera perspective like it should. In Smackdown vs Raw, the select button is completely unresponsive and wont change targets. Interestingly, the select button still brings up the vsh menu in the xmb like no problem. Does anybody know whats going on? Is my psp bricked? I cant seem to find info on this anywhere else, on a side note, i had a psp 10 years ago that had the same issue with the select button before it just bricked out and i never figured out what was wrong, now this pesky issue has come back.

I'm pretty sure the select button problem is not caused by reinstalling the CFW. In fact, this shouldn't cause any issue at all. The problem is probably caused by some sort of plugin(s), try disabling all the plugins from the recovery menu (you can access the recovery menu by powering on your PSP while holding the R button), then boot up a game again and see if the problem is still there.
