I've purchased the Sega Flashback 2018 console with the SD slot and it recently began freezing on me. Funny part is that it happens at about 10 min of game time every time on every rom and most firmwares regardless whether custom or official. I say most firmwares as I'm not sure of how many there actually are out there. I opened it up to see if there's any shorts on the board but outside of a poor build quality, I saw nothing that would potentially make it freeze. I'd exchange it for a new one but I threw out the box as I did not expect it to be that poor of quality. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. If anyone needs any pics of the internal boards or anything to diagnose the problem, I'll gladly supply them. Thanks in advance.

A few members on here have that problem and so far no fix has been found. It probably isn't a firmware problem as even flashing the entire firmware doesn't cure it.

I'd suggest tweeting or emailing AtGames and see if they will replace it for you. They seem quite good at responding to issues people are having.

Thanks for the reply. I've been emailing AtGames and outside of the usual suggestion to 'try this firmware from our firmware page', Newton (rep helping me out) told me that he's going to forward my problem to Q&A. That was two days ago. At this point, I'm ready to go buy another one and return this one in a box.
