Short version is I have a second hand vita that, as far as I can tell, has been hacked with HENkaku enso 3.65. This should be a good thing, however I wasn't expecting it to be prehacked when I acquired it and frankly I haven't got a clue what the hell this guy did. It looks like I'm missing important stuff like vita shell and molecular shell. I've seen a few posts claiming I should be able to just reinstall them through the HENkaku site, but even with version spoofing off and a reboot it tells me my firmware is wrong. Admittedly this could be a possibility but I was under the impression you needed 3.60 to even have HENkaku?

To get to the point, can I just wipe this thing and start from the top? It would be better than trying to figure out what this guy did and didn't do to put everything back together.
Any help in general would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure to get vitashell and molecular shell back you have to use psvimgtool.

With the new hack for 3.65, you don't need 3.60 to have HENkaku. With the new hack called H-encore, you can be on stock 3.65 and install H-encore to get HENkaku. Before this new hack emerged (which was on July 1st) 3.60 was needed though.

I'm not sure if it'd be best to just wipe everything and start over. I guess if you get more information about this and know how to block updates and stuff, you could take a look at this website for installing 3.65 via wifi, and h-encore to get henkaku: https://vita.hacks.guide/
