So yesterday. I decided to hook my wii back up and update the hacks. Everything went great. I did notice however gecko codes now blocks the apps from connecting to them. I found the wii loader app. However it too is blocked.

Basically I want to know is if there is cheat data base out there I can just download all the cheats as a text file and place them all on my sd card? I don't mean like one game at a time. I want the cheats for all the wii, vc games, vc arcade, gamecube ect, all downloaded at once so I don't have to keep removing the sd card from the wii.

If not maybe the temp could create our own data base and alter the apps to connect to it, like they used to connect to gecko before they were blocked.

I recently made a site dump of GeckoCodes.org...

http://gbatemp.net/threads/geckocodes-com-complete-txt-file-dump.377788/

That thread has a link to my pack which has every code from the site as od about a month ago, all in txt file format, ready for most loaders to use straight away, You will just need to put them in to their right folder depending on which loader you are using :)

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
