Hacking SDHC on the R4

Sorry if I come off sounding like a noob but with the SDHC support for the R4 is it just a matter of updating the Firmware??

Or will I need to buy a new flash card either from the R4Team or elsewhere that has hardware capability to support it?


Basically im asking is it software based meaning all the non-SDHC R4's can be later updated to SDHC compatable.

Well you will need a new card firstly.
Secondly this could have been asked in the thread about the new r4 firmware.
Also can you stop advertising everytime you write r4?

Posting for the purpose of advertising is against the rules. Putting ads in your sig is not against the rules unless the ads are "obtrusive".

The ads in that sig are big enough to be questionable, but they aren't flashing, or encouraging you to shoot a rapper/punch a monkey/fist a Hilton, so I don't know if they count as obtrusive.


Edit: Then again, the links to the store in the body of the post do kind of push it over the edge into blatant advertising.
