Hacking SDHC and Gecko OS. Is someone working on this?

It seems like the developer dropped the project, so don't expect an official update. "All" you need to do is porting Gecko OS to the new libogc and compile(which isn't too complicated). Then you have sdhc compatibility.

I'm not too up on developing. Can I do this with Devkitpro?

I'm willing to do this if no one really wants to, but I need to be pointed in the right direction. I'd like to update a lot of dead projects for wiibrew, but I need a little guidance.

Devkitpro? something else? At least send me to a forum or guide that can help me.

devkitpro is pretty much needed to compile wii homebrew.

Find a tutorial on setting up the wii homebrew environment first



I tried compiling Gecko OS from the source, but its giving errors.

i am pretty sure nuke will release gecko os 2.0. he invested to much time and afford into it to let it just die. as far as i know he was nearly done with it.
