SD2SNES user rejoice!
An anonymous coder dropped off a modified SD2SNES firmware which adds a Super Game Boy core to the SD2SNES.
You can now load Game Boy and Black Cart Game Boy Color Games (GB games with GBC palettes) on a Super Nintendo, using any SD2SNES, SD2SNES Pro and current FXPAK PRO model.
The new core boots the Super Game Boy 2 BIOS, which was a Japanese-exclusive timing-corrected hardware update that played Gameboy games at correct speed.
MSU-1 audio support will be possible in the future.

For those less familiar with what the supergameboy offers then in terms of volume not a lot but in terms of quality then actually there is some really interesting stuff.

My usual overview of it link

Bomberman multiplayer is my favourite thing it does -- I rank SGB bomberman multiplayer up there with the tip top PCE/TG16 effort and Saturn, or whatever good modes of atomic bomberman you might cook up. Yes that means ahead of GBA, DS, N64 (though that is very different) and even XBLA, even if all of those can do interesting things.
