Been around 2 years since last on 3ds.

Getting loads of errors such as errdisp, certain installed cias only playing about 4 out of 10 and an exception occurred ARM 11 (core 1)

When copying files to my pc from this sd card it also gave numerous errors ie the file directory is corrupt & i/o device error.

I am assuming that my SD card is start to fail and with the following errors I feel that I should start with fresh data on a new SD card.

So where to start and what files will I need. Fresh install of luma/ copy and paste exercise etc?

Thanks

The is the easy method:
Possibility #1 Restore a known good backup of your SD to another FAT32 formatted and h2testw or F3 checked SD. Everything should be back to normal if there aren't other problems.

The "I don't have a backup!"-method:
Possibility #2 Try backing up the saves files you care for the most. First the encrypted files (use Roadkil unstoppable copier or similar) and avoid writing to SD. Once you have backup up all you can get, you might want to risk writing to SD again to get important files with Checkpoint and/or JKSM. Writing to dying or corrupted SD can lead to further data loss. Restoring encrypted save backups can be a bit tricky, but it is possible.

In both cases these two pages of The Guide will bring everything to latest version (can of course be used on empty SD as well forgoing any old saves)

Good luck and have fun!
