Hacking SD cards in R4

Well my sister want to buy a R4, and well, I was wondering if there's some specific SD card that she should buy with it? Since Wii games requires some specific DVD maybe R4 would need a specific SD card.

Kingston japan microSD are suppost to be the best.

Well, it's pretty much both.

You could get a Sandisk MicroSD. They perform fairly well, and I haven't had any game problems yet.

You could always buy a 1GB card for free on Buy.com. As long as you sign up for a google checkout account.

Yes, newegg has the best deal on MicroSD cards from all the sites. Except the 1GB free from buy.com which I still need to do.

I just ordered the 2GB Kingston micro from Newegg. Came out to just under 20usd shipped. Hope it works out.

Whats the difference between the Japan and non Japan made ones?

The Taiwan kingston has an issue with a game or 2 for some reason. The japan version does not have issues with those games.

If you want to purchase a Japanese microsd then I suggest you go with Toshiba, as it doesn't have Taiwan versions.
