Thanks a lot for the help. I copied my entire SD card onto my computer for when I go out tomorrow to get a new one. I am running a chkdsk on the sd card too see if i can fix any bad sectors.

where did you buy it?

You've possibly corrupted or overheated your SD. Wait a couple hours before playing your 3ds again and report back

^ I've had this happen many times for me. Usually my O3DS's SD would corrupt or my N3DS's SD card overheated on emuNAND and would turn off unexpectedly. If it's a corruption, a backup will need to be restored. If it's overheation, just wait a few hours.

So I just formatted the SD card and am copying everything back over. Hopefully this works, if not I am going out too buy a new SD card. Any brands in recommendation?

Samsung evo plus
Sandisk extreme
toshiba exceria

I'm sure there are others but i own what i listed and they are all good. Make sure they are class 10.

So I got a New SD card, copyed everythign over and boom same thing as before. Nothing that isn't natural on the 3ds inst loading. Homebrew launcher, bronyFTP, Lumaupdater, freeshop.

Hello,
Sorry for bumping a dead topic but I'm having the same problem, even after using another SD card.

O3DS or N3DS?
This happened to a few friends of mine due to faulty SD-ports sockets...
They have to leave their SD door a lil bit open (not pushing it all the way into the console) for it to "work" correctly.
They'll probably need to replace their SD port socket soon...

Hello,

Another reason is if you have dropped the console like I did with mine then all you need to do is open the console up replace the wifi card and gently push the sd adapter back In place or solder a new one in. This worked for me. Or wait a bit and then try sd card again as it could be overheating.

As with the description given from yourself it seems that it could be a damaged port. It's an easy fix just buy a 3ds for parts on eBay or if someone local is selling up and change parts that way. Look up on Google to how to change the sd port as it's different from n3ds to o3ds.

I hope you manage to get your problem sorted out.

Ok, so blowing the hell out of my lungs didn't work. I'll try and see if the port isn't misplaced due to a fall. Otherwise I will buy a new port. Thanks !

Well, I just did all the steps again from a certain point except the last one and it works now. Thanks anyway !
