As awesome as it is, I have fears about long term carpal tunnel caused by having to wave the cursor over half the screen searching for clickable items. :x

dyou put the games on an SDcard in folders? with this dol in the root?

I put the games in a folder called scummvm but you can put them anywhere and just browse to them from within ScummVM. I renamed the .dol to boot.elf and it booted up just fine with the Twilight hack. Also when ScummVM starts, if your wiimote doesn't move around the screen, unplug the nun chuck and it should start to work.

QUOTE(mark187 @ Apr 30 2008, 01:31 PM) Do you just use the Win32 binaries or do the games come in a specific format?

Same games you use on the Windows version of ScummVM.

What way is your SD card formatted? FAT16, FAT32?

I've got it working but no sound! Anyone else had this problem or know how to overcome it?

Other than that it's working great.

Edit:

Actually I tell a lie. I have sound but no music.

Monkey Island isn't the same with no music.

Might be a problem with your files? I know I had problem playing Sam and Max on DS because the sounds were apparently compressed in a format that SCUMMVM DS wouldn't read. Does anybody know if this can play Monkey Island 3?

Simple answer. I didn't have any of the tracks on the SD Card.

Copied over all the .ogg files and it's working perfectly now.

Now, can I be bothered to play Monkey Island again???

I swear, I must have completed the monkey island series on several platforms more than 50 times...It never gets old for me!

I started playing MI2 again on the Wii, and all is smooth so far, on the 4 map pieces after defeating Largo! I found when you save, you can input the character 0 using the left d-pad on the wii remote, just to put something in, and bypass the copy protection screen. So far, all working a treat

Just wondering if anyone has tried some of the more complicated games like MI3 yet?

i can't get my head around this thing, i've renamed the dol to boot.elf but it just seems to crash on me

You can use the SDLoad 0.4 front SD loader, which will load your elf's and dol's. Also make sure once the program has started, that you unplug the nunchuck controller, as this prevents the cursor moving.

I converted the dol to an elf using DolTool3 first.

It should just work renaming the dol to boot.elf and using the TP hack.
