I don't think it was faked. I think he actually has (or had) an E3 cart and he's keeping it for himself. I'd be worried about the repercussions of releasing something like that out into the wild too. God only knows who's watching...

-We don't know for sure if it was authentic or not.
-He claimed to have been making an effort to dump the contents of the chip.
-He claimed many of his attempts were unsuccessful.
-The topic is now deleted, supposedly because of rom requests.

You don't know for sure he was screwing with us so don't say stuff like that.

You forgot some parts.
- He was quoted saying things about having a fake E3 release topic.
- He has supposedly uploaded it somewhere, the whereabouts of which are unknown. He also apparently gave it an obscure file name, making it seemingly impossible to find.
- He's mentioned multiple times that he's nervous/afraid of getting caught and in trouble for doing this.

There's no way to know if it's real or fake aside from the obvious. Jumping on the people that are suspicious is silly though.

The e3 demo wasn't the full game, it was just a sandbox empty room to summon things in to test the word dictionary, so I'm not quite sure what everyone is so worked up about.

Unless he tried to claim he had the FULL game from e3 which is a bold faced lie and we shouldn't get our hopes up. The game was still in development then and the full production wasn't on the showroom floor.

Really, seems like a lot of attention grabbing drama I missed when I was off in the real world.
