What's the size of your SD card?

This problem only occurs with SD cards of that size, we don't know why though. The only way to fix it is to move to a lower-sized SD card...

Is your card formatted to fat32 with 32kb cluster?

if that's the standard, then, no. i had to mess with it in order for my 3ds to recognize it in the first place. i also feel like it's worth mentioning that this doesn't happen with all gba games, just some of them like this.

Try formatting the SD card with this

Try both 32kb and 64kb cluster size

obviously make sure you backup the sd card contents before formatiing. If that doesnt work, try making 1 64gb primary partition and using that, it might help.
