I upgraded to an IPS screen a few months ago, and now it's starting to show issues (second photo). When I reinstalled the original LCD (first photo), the display is very dim, almost as if there's no backlight, and it looks burned. Could this be related to the backlight fuse, or is there another issue? I tried bridging the backlight fuse, but it didn’t resolve the problem. Any help with this fix would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any advice or solutions, I would be very grateful

If the screen was some crappy Chinese one could be it's ruined the motherboard. Dim backlight on original may mean power delivery issues
is there a way to fix this issue, the IPS screen i got it is from ebay. if this could not be fix, i would get a replacement.

where is the best place to get an a good IPS screen?

likely you might need a new motherboard, could be simply a blown resistor or something but you'd have to diagnose that your self, and its not really best place to get one, its what name is on the screen. maybe find out who orignally designed these screens and see if you can find theirs, rather than some knock off chinese one that skimps of parts just to make them cheap

All places use the same IPS screen - they all come from China.

If you're in a rush / want at least some warranty, buy from a local (to the country) Ebay seller.

Otherwise if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks to a month for something cheap, AliExpress is the way to go.

They all come from China, anyway.

The original manufacturers don't make these screens anymore.

The only choice is having to either buy used screens from donor PSPs or the clones made by China.

the ones that i got before is from ebay, source from china, it completely fried the screen both oem and the ebay ips. that is the reason why i need to find the authentic ips screen if available

I meant usually there's a brand who use more trusted sources of components, like the kits for game boy. Rather than just using the cheapest clones possible. There's been plenty of times someone has delayed shipping mods because of sourcing parts upto their quality standards when there are obvious cheaper parts they could use
